The Bolinas Community Land Trust has completed its purchase of the Tacherra ranch, marking a milestone in a broad-based effort to build permanent, affordable housing for about 60 longtime residents who were displaced from condemned housing at the site.

This month we took the opportunity to speak with Charlie, a Bolinas-Stinson School graduate and current employee, a Bo-Stin Summer Camp Counselor, and a BCLT resident.

The project will replace temporary housing with permanent homes for longtime Bolinas residents while preserving farmland and open space.

Happy New Year! This month, we’d like to thank you for making our 2025 fundraising so successful. We’re also pleased to announce that we’ve broken ground on our 31 Wharf project, and to introduce you to new board member Amy Harmon and new maintenance specialist Keith Ciampa.

We’d like you to meet our newest Board member Amy Harmon, who brings deep experience and a commitment to this community, and our new Property Maintenance Specialist Keith Ciampa, who reminds us that our tenants are not statistics but the heartbeat of the community.
